About Lithuanian Spaniel Owners Club

The Lithuanian Spaniel Owners Club was founded on April 25, 1992, in Kaunas, Lithuania. It is one of Lithuania’s oldest kennel clubs, uniting 8 FCI group spaniel breeders, owners and fans all over Lithuania.

Our club mission:

  • Preservation of pedigree quality for 8 FCI group spaniel breeds
  • Administration of breeding documents and titles
  • Mediation in document handling and other matters to The Lithuanian Kennel Club (LKD)
  • Promotion of 8 FCI group spaniel breeds in Lithuania and abroad
  • Full support for club members in all spaniel and non-spaniel related areas

Breeders, owners and fans of the following spaniels in Group VIII FCI can join the club (yes, you can become a member even without a dog;)):

  • Irish Water Spaniels
  • American Water Spaniels
  • American Cocker Spaniels
  • English Cocker Spaniels
  • English Springer Spaniels
  • Field Spaniels
  • Clumber Spaniels
  • Sussex Spaniels
  • Welsh Springer Spaniels

Russian spaniel owners are also admitted to the join club.

Once a year, usually in September or early in October, the club organises a club spaniel show, which is equivalent to CACIB.

The president of the club is Elvinas Karalis (kennel Marga Karalystė, English Springer Spaniels ).
